About Silverado

Silverado is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Silverado is fostered in St. Petersburg, FL (Pinellas County). Silverado is a sweet mixed-breed guy of 10 years young and 48 lbs. We think he has some Australian cattle dog and/or Australian kelpie in him. Silverado loves people and attention - he will run up to you with the biggest grin, so happy to see you and get attention. He is crate-trained and housebroken, and knows how to use a dog door. He is okay with other dogs, but he really doesn't like the young dogs in his face and will let them know - he would probably do great as an only dog or with another mellow adult or senior dog. Walks would be great, as he shows no signs of slowing down yet. He loves the comfort of a soft bed. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative. His standard adoption donation is $250, but he can be adopted by a senior 65+ for $150 through our Seniors for Seniors program.
