About Jack

Jack is a big teddy bear and a great hiking partner. He takes a little time to warm up to people upon initial contact but will do great once he knows he is safe. No small children under 14 yrs old age because he is so shy. He is selective when it comes to meeting other dogs so we feel he might be best as an only dog. He did live with a smaller dog so maybe he would be fine with a small dog. Jack and his little friend, a female chihuahua were abandoned by their family in an empty lot where they had to fend for themselves and slept under a truck for three months. Jack's chihuahua friend has been adopted but Jack is still waiting for his loving forever home.
