About Hobbit

I took this cat in because the previous owner died and her daughter didn't want it. I can no longer keep this kitty here. I hate to part with him/her (gender unknown) because I don't want to cause any further stress to 'him', but he is refusing to use the litter pan and is using the bathroom in my return vent. The fee is to make sure he goes to someone who will care for him and should be donated to the rescueme group. Please do not pay it directly to me. I need to ensure that this kitty goes to a good home with patient people. He had a traumatic life with his previous owners and was in bad shape when he came to me. He doesn't like loud noises, is fearful of dogs, and will run if you come up to him too quickly. I have worked with him quite a bit in the 6 months I have had him and have gotten him to he point of enjoying some human contact and he will even sit with you every now and then, and sometimes you can even catch him playing. His biggest fault is the litter box. I have 4 other kitties at home, and I have 5 litter pans around my house with one designated specifically for him, with his very own type of litter (I have tried multiple types) and he will not use it. Sadly it is becoming a health hazard for my children. I hope someone will give this sweet little flatface kitty a chance. I will send pictures upon request.
