About Whimbley

Good day everyone!! My name is Whimbley. My foster mommy has renamed me three times now. She's a highly confused person! Anyway, I actually like this name better. I hope she doesn't change it again .....silly lady!! Now about me! I am a Pit Bull, Greyhound mix. I am a sweet, loving boy! My foster mommy laughs at me because my legs are so long for my body. I laugh back at her because she only has two legs! How goofy is that!!?? I am 13 months old and let me say this, not to brag, but I'm VERY smart! Ok, I AM bragging because it's true! I know how to sit, lay down and shake. I walk well on the leash, and I'm excellent in the car. I love to play ball, plus I'm very playful and outgoing, I've learned to sit at the door and let my foster mom out first, except when I really need to pee. That makes her wonder why I don't stay in the sit stay position well, DUH! I have to pee! Humans can be clueless at times! Don't tell her that though because then she may not give me those yummy treats I like so much. My stays do need work. I'm told I have a pogo stick on my butt. Whatever that is! I love all people including older kids, but I shouldn't be placed in a home with small animals. I seem to be just a little hand shy and loud sounds tend to scare me sometimes, however, I'm slowly getting past that. I am house trained. I'm not destructive in the house, but don't put me in a kennel because I will destroy that! I hate to be in one of those! I really need a 6 foot high fence. I'm highly treat motivated as well. I'm fully a lap dog. I'm told time and again I'm too big for that, but when I see a lap my lap drive takes over and I'll sit on you. No matter where you might be I'll be in your lap. If you sit on the ground I'm lap bound. I sometimes even will get so loving I'll knock you over while your sitting on the floor and lay on top of you! I'm a huge lover and want nothing more then to be with my people, be it sitting next to them, sitting on them, laying on them, laying next to them or following them around the house. I'm 3000% a people loving boy! I'm neutered, don't tell the ladies though cuz I'm still a big hunk of a man. I was pretty insulted a when few boy dogs laughed at me because of it, I just looked at them and said 'you don't have anything either, stop laughing!'. I'm microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and I'm now old enough to be heartworm tested! So all that being said, I would love more then anything to start courting people to see if they may be a good match for me! I guess anyone that wants to date me has to fill out something called a Meet and Greet application. I find it silly. Who fills out an application to date!!?? But rules are rules.
