After being weaned as a pup, Nico spent the first 4 months of his life in a crate at the shelter. He was ultimately adopted by someone who also never socialized him and then she got evicted from her home. She tried to find someone to take Nico with no luck...and she knew because of his fearfulness, his chances in a shelter would be slim. I was contacted and to make a long story short, he became a sweet soul! Nico has come a long way over the last year and although it does take him some time to warm up, he is great with pretty much everyone and everything now. Nico is high energy and would love an active family! He is only about 50# but is quite strong and requires a strong handler! Nico loves going on hikes, riding in the car, and hanging out at the dog park! He will make the right person an awesome friend! He did great living with my son for a few weeks and just needs that someone to see what a special soul he truly is!!!
