About Chuggs

Chuggs is a 7 year old chihuahua/pug mix. He is timid with new people but gets along with adults and respectful children preferably over 5. As a puppy he was abused by children at an in home daycare until he grew so fearful that he started growling and snapping at children. After a lot of training he is fine now as long as they are respectful. He currently lives with a 5 year old girl that he adores and a 2 year old boy that he puts up with. He is looking for a new home because he has attacked and helped kill 2 of our catcats. We've done all the training we can and after this last one we have decided enough is enough and don't want to risk our remaining 4 cats or the many strays around our house. He does fine with most dogs when properly introduced. He is house trained but has been outside only the last couple months so he may need a refresher course. He is kennel, doggie door, and leash trained. He is up to date on all shots, had a dental cleaning this month, and has a banfield wellness plan for the next year.he really just needs a quiet home where he can be part of the family.
