Chupy is a 1 year old dog who has had a rough start in life. He was adopted from a large municipal shelter, but then his adopter abandoned him in an apartment when she moved out, leaving him without food or water. Chupy is now with the Helotes Humane Society. Chupy gets along well with dogs his own size. He does not like small dogs or cats. He would do best in a home without young children. Older teens would be o.k. He is quite playful and loves his stuffies! He has some hairless spots because he is part Xoloitzcuintli . He is missing some teeth which is also common in this breed. You can read more about them here: http://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/xoloitzcuintli/ Chupy is an active and alert dog who would do best in an active home with someone willing to work with him on training. If that is you, please contact us!
