About Quincey

Friendly, loving, calm, quiet Quincey was left with me to dog sit and his owner never came back to get him. I've had him now for about 5 weeks and in that time he has proven to be the sweetest little guy there is. I was told he is around 5 and was a former bait dog. He has not shown any aggression toward myself, my daughter, or my dog. I have not yet seen him interact with a cat or any other animals. He adores attention, and just wants love, affection, and contact, whether it be petting, hugs, or just resting your hand on him, or his paw on you. He would rather spend quality time being pet than playing. He is a jumper though, always wanting to be close to you. He is definitely a lover. He has been an outside dog since being with me. When he goes inside he seems to want to mark things. He listens and learns well so it seems he could likely be potty trained. He is often calm but has his puppy-like moments, especially after bath time. I never see him happier than right after his bath. Quincey has back problems, sensitive skin, and sensitive ears. He very rarely barks, and it sounds like he may have some throat problems but I'm not sure. While he gets along with other dogs, a home where he is the only dog is ideal. I can't keep him because I already have one dog and I dog sit another daily. Quincey deserves a home where he can get all the focus and love on him.
