About Gypsy

Gypsy was seen walking with a man across the street from the local high school. She was picked up and thrown by the neck and then had things thrown at her. A few of the teachers/students went across the street and took her. She was brought to the parking lot and held by my daughter who called me at work and asked what she should do. I picked both of them up and brought them home. Though I already have as many animals as I can financially handle, I instantly fell in love. My initial intention was to take her to the animal shelter the following day but cannot bring myself to do so. Gypsy is young and carefree. She gets a long wonderfully with both my male spaniel and my female bulldog mix. We also have 2 cats that she does great with. She will chase our chickens but has yet to attack any of them. Gypsy has demodex mange and is on treatment. Her skin has improved greatly. She is just under 40 lbs and is around 8 months old. Her vaccines are current and I have her on Heartgard and Bravecto. She is young so she has a lot of energy but I would not consider her overly hyper. If left inside for a long time she will chew things up. She is mostly house broken. She had gotten out of our fence a couple of times so I worry that she may get picked up by the wrong person or get hit by a car. I would love to know that she is going to a great home that understands this breed. Please let me know if you think you can help. Thank you so much!
