About Romeo

Adoption Fee: $450.00
Lab / German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Romeo!! He is a beautiful 1.5 year old Yellow Lab German Shepherd mix boy! He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on all vaccinations. Romeo has a beautiful white coat, and he is full of life as with any lab. He loves to play, play, play, and he is very sweet and outgoing. He is a mischievous little guy and is full of personality. He gets along great with other dogs and would love a buddy to play with. As a typical lab, he loves to play in the water and splash around having the time of his life! He loves to frolic and play with his toys! He never turns down a good belly rub and he loves to snuggle. Romeo has pretty severe hip dysplasia in both of his hips. Both of our vets did not recommend surgery for him. It does not bother him currently and he gets around wonderfully! He can walk and run and play and jump and all that fun stuff still. He just looks a little funny as he does so. His hips do not slow him down at all but it is important to note that later on in life he could need surgery or therapy, and he may develop arthritis. He walks well on a leash and is crate trained. Although he loves it he wouldn't be the best for extensive hiking or as a running buddy due to his hips. He is just an amazing dog with an amazing spirit. Everyone that meets him loves him!! He will make a great pet for any family. He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. He can't wait to find his forever home!
