About Meili

This little girl is a wire haired terrier which looks mainly like a border terrier with maybe some cairn terrier in her as well. She came in with her sister and they were both found together as strays. She is all black and her name is Meili. She was quite frightened when meeting new people but seems to have warmed up to most of us at the shelter now.. We think she will need a lot of TLC and some good solid affection and caring and she will make a great companion once she trusts her humans. Meili has made tremendous progress and now is friendly with many people and even gets into laps. SHe needs an adopter who will take her home in foster care for a while and work with her. She will likely be comfortable in a week or less. But she may have to have her own place in the house where she can go when strangers come to the door in order to keep her comfortable. She is micro chipped, spayed and fully vaccinated and ready to go home for a foster care trial. Let us know if interested. Adoption fee is donation of choice
