About Chikita in Dallas, TX

Meet Chikita. We rescued this little 4 year old Pug/Jack Russell Terrier mix from the San Antonio shelter. She was going to be euthanized for being heartworm positive. Once our rescue tag was sent in, they told us she was pregnant!!! We had her transported to Dallas. She arrived on a Friday night and gave birth to 5 healthy puppies. Chikita raised her pups and they have all found good homes. Now it is her turn!!!!! She needs a furever home. She's being treated with slow kill for heartworms. Other than that, she's fully vetted and healthy. She is playful, charming, clever and sweet, but like a lot of Terriers, can also be stubborn. Can you imagine that?! She's crate and house trained. Chikita gets along with everyone, but can be a little owner possessive. She requires a home with no kids. Because she is gentle natured we feel that she will probably be okay with cats.
