About Jack

Jack came from Jasper Alabama. He was found in a dumpster. He got sent to portage Wis where my sister adopted him for my parents on 7-13-17. They both past away September 30th. I was the only one that could take him.(my golden retriever had just past away from cancer). He is so sweet and good for me but not for younger kids. Kids over 7 are fine but he is not okay with little kids. I have a lot going on and want to find him a good home. He loves to play and can be really sweet for me. Will try get on your lap, would love to be on sofa with you. He already knows sit and down. He has to be put on leash otherwise will keep going when outside. Loves car rides. He wants to be a good dog just needs a stable home to help him. Ask any questions - he is free. He has been on walks and dog park - does great. I'm not sure what breed he is. His papers say boxer mix. Could have black mouth cur or pit, boxer. I don't know. I'm going make sure I find him a good home. I did give Jack to a great family, within 3 days it was clear that one family member had allergies to Jack. I took him back. They said that he was wonderful for them and would be a reference. update. So we decided to keep him. I'm having a hard time bonding with him and I don't feel our home is the best for him. If you have kids under age 8 or live in different state please do not contact me. I will NOT provide food.
