Emma is a three year old American Staffordshire terrier mix, she is about 65 pounds. Last January, Emma was picked up as a stray by the FCDS not long after having puppies. She was rescued from the Franklin County shelter just an hour and half before being euthanized. Emma is scared of other dogs. Emma is fantastic in her kennel, she will let you know when she needs to go outside. She sleeps in her kennel and as long as she has her Kong with peanut butter and cheese all is good in her world. She is also a huge fan of ice cream! Emma will need a patient, loving and a strong handler. She can be stubborn, but she is also very smart. She sits, shakes and will beg for treats without being asked. A home with a fenced in yard would be great, as she is very good about entertaining herself with her toys while she is outside.
