About Sir Charles Barkley

Meet Sir Charles Barkley! AKA Barkley, B's, Bubba. He will be 4 in January and is a fixed male. He is ok with dogs in most situations, but needs to be the only dog living in the home. He is good with adults, but not small children--I would guess over the age of 7 or 8 might be okay. He does have territorial issues with toys/bones, hence not living with another dog. Average-high energy, he has the beagle nose so will need a fenced yard or land, and/or walks so his nose/brain stays stimulated. He knows all basic commands. He loves his people, but he will let you know when he wants to be left alone. He could be an amazing dog in the right family! He has a tendency to try and bolt out open doors, fence gates, and the like, so must be careful when coming and going. The bump on his head in the pictures has since been removed, it was a small benign tumor. He does have a charming scar from it. Please contact with any questions or a meet and greet!
