Meet Hooch, a 5 1/2 year old, 71 lb Korean Jindo- Belgian Tervuren mix (this is our best guess). Hooch is a sweet, VERY active, and intelligent dog that is very good with all people and children (older). He is good with other dogs as long as they are introduced properly and has not been cat tested. Unfortunately, Hooch's family has gone through a divorce and he is in need of a new FURever family that is in a better situation to give him the love and ATTENTION he deserves. He would do great with a family with older children to watch over at night. He would also make someone a great companion dog, as he doesn't mind being the center of attention at ALL times. He would thrive in a home with a yard, he enjoys being outside, but with the right about of exercise and attention he could be fine without a yard. He is house trained, he does not get up on the furniture without being told to do so, and does not bark or chew anything in the house. Hooch will be okay alone while you are at work, he does not have separation anxiety, but he will be super excited to see you when you get home. Are you looking to add a new cuddle bear to your life? Hooch is waiting for you... Hooch is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. Hooch is recovering from surgery to repair a Partial Crutiate tear on his rear leg (TPLO). He is on restricted activity for a few weeks, but should be fully recovered soon. His adoption fee is $250 which helps Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.
