About Harvey's Diamond

Diamond is a super laid back lab girl who is happy to look around and greet people with a wagging tail and a quick hello. Diamond is a 5 year old, 40lb pup. She is not super needy so you can pet her if you like but she is not in your face. She is happy and curious to greet anyone new. Diamond may take a little bit until she feels comfortable with you but once she is she will be your best buddy. She has four white paws and a cute white tip on her tail. Diamond has done great with all the dogs she's met so far although she definitely prefers lower energy dogs. Diamond would also do best in a home without small children as we don't think she's ever been around them and the freak her out a bit. She is highly food motivated and completely crate trained, not making a peep while in there, we are still working on housetraining but because she's so good motivated we're not expecting this to be a problem. OPH partnered with Old Town Pet Resort and San Antonio Pets Alive to assist 12 dogs who found themselves displaced through Hurricane Harvey. Through the generosity of these two organizations, we were able to bring in these dogs and ensure they were out of harms way! Old Towne Pet Resort in Springfield graciously created a seamless transition for these pups from the shelter to their resort where the dogs are being cared for, evaluated, nurtured and prepared for their forever homes. San Antonio Pets Alive cared for each and every dog and provided medical attention and vetting prior to the dogs' arrival. OPH truly believes that 'It Takes a Village' to make a difference in the lives of shelter dogs. Through this Operation Hurricane initiative, we have seen the best of our local business partners and could not be more proud to partner with them!
