About Darby

Darby Louise aka Darby Doo-Da cracks me up! What a goober! She has not had a kind life, and she's still a youngster. We are working to find a protein that doesn't cause her allergies, she caught a URI on her trip but none of that stops her from being the sweetest and funniest, short and stocky lil pitty princess ever! It was reported that she isn't good with other dogs, thus no other rescue was interested, she was actually tagged and when the other rescue found out they told transport not to bring her!! We conducted our own dog tests with 2 of our dogs and she passed with flying colors. So we aren't sure if it's just the dogs she met and the environment she met them in or if she just loved the 2 male dogs she met here. She is good with cats and would be terrific with kids, she is a lil tank though so she may accidentally knock little ones over. This is a VERY sweet dog with a sincere love for life. There is a LOT we can all learn from sweet Darby Doo!!!
