About Bella

Bella has an interesting story on how she ended up at the county shelter. Her original family was moving out of the country for work and were unable to take her along so they rehomed her. Bella's new family fell on hard times and thought they were doing the right thing by finding her another home. Not very long after this last move, Bella found herself wandering the streets as a starving stray in a neighboring state where she was picked up by Animal Control. Taken to the local kill shelter and kill listed several times for overstaying her welcome, Bella caught the eye of a local rescue after her story was posted online. Bella was chipped by her first family so her families were contacted and gave us her timeline of events as they knew it. The rescue stepped in a pulled Bella before she was last reprieve was up and placed her in a foster home. Bella is 5 years old, housetrained, and knows basic commands. She is afraid of cats after one at the shelter went after her when she was being cat tested.
