Right now Stacey can't walk on a leash, she freezes in fear. A fenced in area would be her best bet right now for her safety and security while she learns the world. Stacey was rescued from a breeder hoarder and she is used to melting into the background, being one of many and not bringing attention to herself. She is painfully shy but there is no bite or meanness in her. She simply does not know what to do so she stays still. She's looking for patience and someone to earn her trust. She does not want to be picked up. She is not that trusting yet. How do I act when I first meet new people? Very quiet and shy. Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.
