Phoebe is an adorable, friendly, athletic and snugly, one-year-old, 50-pound female pit bull terrier looking for a loving guardian. Phoebe adores all people - including children - and loves sleeping in bed with her foster family. She can play ball for hours and even falls asleep with a ball in her mouth. Phoebe goes to doggie daycare where she gets along best with other large dogs. She does not do well small dogs or cats. She is housebroken and well-behaved in the home. She is working on her manners, but knows basic commands like sit and loves rides in the car. She loves walks on leash but she can, at times, be reactive to other dogs, so she's best in a less congested area. Phoebe is very healthy, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of MCP Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Phoebe, please fill out the adoption application at http://mcprescue.org/adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org She is currently being fostered in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.
