Sam came to us from a municipal shelter in the south who was overrun with intake dogs and reached out for some help. He is a black lab mix we think, and came to us with demodex mange, the kind that is not contagious but more of an immunity problem due to poor diet and poor conditions. So Sam went off to a school in Bonners Ferry where he worked with teens to learn clicker training and to learn basic commands while teaching the kids patience and compassion. He was there just a few weeks and is now back with us looking wonderful and with a great coat of healthy fur. . He is available for adoption now and ready to go to a new home that wants a playful, clicker trained medium to large breed boy. He is neutered and fully vaccinated and microchipped. He will be a great companion!
