About Ziggy

Look at those ears! Ziggy is a stunning 2 year old border collie/pointer mix. He's been living in Brooklyn for the past 10 months and sadly, city-life is not his cup of tea. Ziggy is loving, loyal, energetic, playful and super smart. He wants a quiet home in the suburbs or country where he has room to run and someone to curl up with once the sun goes down. He's a bit wary of strangers and strange dogs, so he'll do better in a home where there isn't a ton of traffic. But once this guy gets to know you, Ziggy's the best companion a person could ask for. This guy had a pretty rough life before this year. But now he's learning how to love and be loved. He knows sit, down, stay and come. And he just learned a new one�'�| say 'touch' and he'll gently tap his nose to your hand which is beyond adorable. Ziggy's getting great at walking on lead and his current mama is training him to go on jogs and even run alongside a bike! He'd love a home that's excited to keep working on all of the above. No cats, young kids or small dogs for this guy. He'd probably love a furry big sister or would also do very well as your only dog. Ziggy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
