About Baby

Baby is a 9 month old Boxer mix gal who weighs about 30 pounds. As an adult she'll most likely weigh around 35 pounds. Baby is a VERY sweet girl who absolutely LOVES CHILDREN! She is fearful of other dogs when first meeting them, but once she does - she will be BFFs with them and is quite submissive! She requires slow introductions when meeting others because of her fear - so a potential adopter will need to be a strong leader and understand that they will need to continue to work with her on that. Baby was deserted in a store a few months ago which may explain some of her fearfulness. Baby is housetrained, does well on a leash, and gets along well with cats She will require a home with another dog as that helps her to have confidence and feel safe. Baby doesn't like to be crated by herself but is fine if crated with a buddy. Currently she sleeps through the night quietly in a dog bed. She'll also require a fenced in yard. Baby has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and is up to date with her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.
