About Angela

Meet Angela, or as her foster mom calls her, 'Bella Ella,' . . . because she is so beautiful. Angela is a 55lb 3 �%BD year-old female Hound-mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Angela is one of the sweetest, kindest, most gentle souls on the planet. Sadly, humans were not kind to Angela in her past so Angela is shy and standoffish when first meeting new people. But, once you earn Angela's trust, she trusts you fully, and once you earn her love, she loves you truly. She does not live with children now and small loud children would probably terrify her, but she does not have an aggressive bone in her body. Angela loves animals of every kind, great and small. She should be adopted into a home with another dog, as she gains confidence and comfort in their presence. Angela is playful with other dogs and likes to nap with them, too. She has not met cats, but she is gentle and curious and would not harm a fly. She is housetrained, crate-trained and trusted with free-roam with the rest of the dogs in the home. Angela is good in the car. She walks well on leash, and a slip lead is helpful to ensure that she won't slip out of her collar. Angela, Bella-Ella is gorgeous, inside and out. She has been with her foster mom long enough to have made huge strides. Each day her shyness melts away. She loves snuggles and pets to her velvety coat. She has rediscovered, or perhaps discovered for the first time, her happiness-her doggyness. She is fairly quiet, except when she is happy-like when her mom comes home from work, she is greeted with a joyful little 'WoooWoooWooo!' baying sound and that is all. Now, all she needs is a family to be patient, kind and consistent-and this gem of a dog will shine like the Hope diamond-just as priceless, only more precious.
