About Gizmo and Ruben

Update: I am sad to report Ruben has passed away he spent his entire life in the rescue. He was a wonderful and sweet dog who just wanted love, it has been hard for gizmo because he's never been without his brother he's never known life without his brother so my wish is that he finds a home before Christmas so he has the chance to have the life he and his brother both deserved. Hi everyone our names are gizmo and Ruben we are two extremely bonded brothers who have been in the rescue our entire lives, because of our size we have never been able to find a good home. We are very quiet and mellow we are 9 years old and weigh about 100lbs We love people and children and although we are big we are considerate of other people. We don't jump up on people unless asked to and we love to dance so if you start singing in running around and dancing with us we will dance with you. We don't really give kisses but we love catching you off guard and rolling on you with our heavy bodies we love walks and would love a home with a big yard to run and play in we also loooooove water we could sit in a pool of water all day long if given the opertunity. Rescuers note: Gizmo does have a little fatty tumor above his eye but it's strictly an ugly cosmetic issue I was told it's not cancerous but if the adopter wants it removed I will take him in and have it removed I just don't like putting dogs through unnecessary surgery unless it effects their health.
