About Francesca

Meet Francesca - a gorgeous 3-year-old, 50 lb gal who appears to be a Rottweiler mix! This gorgeous Rottweiler is looking for a loving family to call her own. She has beautiful markings with deep soulful eyes. She has been slowly introduced to her foster family's larger mellow dogs and has demonstrated tolerance; has even had a few play sessions. She would thrive in a home without small critters like birds, squirrels, small dogs, or cats as she does give a good chase. She likes a treat or two and tends to guard her food, so she could use a few positive training techniques for this. A home with structure, consistent training as well as focused socialization to help her become a well-adjusted family member would be her ideal home. She is a smart cookie and has shown improvement in leash, crate and training commands, but needs a firm leader who has experience with her breed/large dogs and the patience to help her master those skills. Francesca has medium energy level and loves human interaction. She is currently walked with a martingale collar and 6ft leash. She would do great with at least a couple of 10- to 20-minute daily walks, plus mental stimulation in the form of training and puzzle toys. Even five minutes of practicing obedience skills will give her a feeling of accomplishment. Her foster mom says her best quality is how loving and friendly she is with people. She's a ham! Francesca is up to date on vaccines, and is spayed.
