About Jumper

Scottish Terrier mix
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Just a elderly man looking for my place to land Meet Jumper! Breed: We think Wheaten mix Gender: Male Date into Rescue: 5/8/2013 Reason for being in rescue: Came to us from a rescuer who was having health problems Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? No Weight: Est 50 lbs..he is as big around as he is tall! Height: Est 23' Birthdate - is around May of 2005 but this is just a guess What is my personality like? Jumper is a very special little man. He takes a while to warm up to a new environment, but once he does he will be your shadow dog. He is nervous by nature, we do not know where some of his anxiety stems. We know he is very afraid of gunshots/fireworks. He loves other dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with everyone. He loves human attention and can spend hours getting his tummy rubbed. He tries hard to hang with the big dogs but he's so far he waddles a bit when he walks. But he tries. Jumper is one of our 'easiest' dogs here at the farm. He is crate trained, he listens well, and he really knows his routine here. In fact we don't even have to ask him to do much, he just automatically does it. Jumper was adopted once but sadly returned. He could not make the jump from kennel dog to home dog. He was alone too much by himself and became even more nervous and it just didn't work out. Sometimes when you've been a kennel dog for a long, long time there is no place no matter how busy, how hectic, how loud or how stinky - Jumper says there is no place like home
