Chet was rescued from deplorable living conditions, confined in a way too small cage behind shacks. He is a fancy rooster not known for their protection abilities. After 2 years, Chet was adopted to a home with 2 hens, one of which he attacked, not in a romantic way. So he is back at the shelter. We are unsure whether he acted out due to be isolated for too long or if needed a slow introduction over several days to weeks to get used to the hens. He is otherwise easy to care for and knows when its bedtime to go into his hutch. He is not a constant crower. Rooster experienced person preferred.
