About Brig

Need to re-home a neutered male German Shepard, no fee, but he needs to be an only dog. We have been working with him since his rescue and he just does not know how to interact with other dogs. He is very loving and sweet with people, he loves his toys. He is however what I would consider special needs. He has severe allergies which have been controlled with OTC allergy medications that my Vet recommeded. He is up to date on all shots and is currently getting the heart guard injections for heart worm prevention, he is heart worm negative. His is also on Prozac, as prescribed by my vet for his behavior, he is very anxious and paces alot, which I feel is due to the other dogs. He has been to doggie boot camp, and knows commands very well. He just does not do well with other dogs. He will bark constantly if you are showing attention to another dog and not him. I would only release him to some one who would promise that if things did not work out, he would be brought back to me. I am sure I will get slammed for this post, but he just doesn't seem to happy to be with other dogs. We (my vet and I) believe him to be about 4 years old.
