LucyLou- sweet, playful & loving...and returned 3 times since her initial arrival a 11 months ago in Nov 2016. LucyLou is a high energy girl who lives life full throttle with a joyous spirit. She loves to run and engage in PDAs (public displays of affection). She does best in an environment of stimulation with sources of activity. She has shown aggression towards cats, pet pigs and goats. She is wonderful with dogs to include small ones. Loves, loves, loves children. She must have secure fencing to keep her safe when outside. Initial arrival date: Nov 15, 2016. Most recent return date Oct 15, 2017. She is a 3 year old red tick coonhound. Her smaller than average size for this breed has convinced her that she can happily fit into any welcoming lap. Adoption fee is subsidized to $25. Application can be submitted online at: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog-adoption-application/ or at the shelter. Updates and more photos will be available on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/smithgallhumanesociety/ Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home appropriate for their needs and that will keep them safe. Each is loved and nurtured by our staff and volunteers during their stay with us and each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own family members. Adoption policies and application procedures are at the shelter website: http://smithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. All approved adopters must accompany their new family member on the journey home. We do not ship nor transport. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment.
