About Cockatiel

I rescued this sweet girl awhile back and she has made great progress and I'm hoping she will find her forever home. Lucy does not know her name so you may change it, she's about 6 months old, eats pellets and seeds, very loving with humans but still a bit skittish. She will bite if she is grabbed, but she will step up to your shoulder and is getting more adjusted to stepping on hands. She is a Lutino pied, is missing feathers on top of her head from her previous home, they are starting to grow back in. She does give kisses and loves to play with toys. She will bite if forced to do something she doesn't want, like being picked up or moved around. She does not like other birds near her but does chatter with my others and she needs a home as an only bird or a home where she can have attention from her new family without another bird constantly next to her. She is pretty quiet and does a chirp that sounds very similar to a laugh. She can come with a medium cage and her accessories for an extra $100. Due to her fears and needing more patience and a calm environment, I will not rehome her to a family with children under 12. I will not rehome her to be a child's pet, she needs an adult to work with her. I'm rehoming her and a few other birds of mine, because I'm moving and taking all of my birds 2000 miles will be too hard. If she doesn't find a home by then, I will take her with me, so I will be picky about where she goes.
