About Sherman McKinley

Sweet 10 yr old boy McKinley was in horrid shape when turned in to the shelter. He was dirty, matted, smelly and had a weeks worth of poop stuck to his bum. He wasn't neutered and had a mouthful of rotten teeth We immediately got him shaved down and cleaned up, ointment on his sore bum, he was neutered and had a dental where he lost every tooth he had. He is now toothless! The good news is he will never had to go to the doggy dentist again! McKinley is the NICEST boy, a little stiff in the hindquarters but he gets around fine. He can't jump up or down on furniture, so he likes to hang out on the dog beds on the floor. He is great on a leash, and loves to snuggle on the sofa if you pick him up. McKinley was so thin when we got him--probably because with his rotten teeth it was too painful to eat. He LOVES to eat now, and should put on weight quickly. He is a very nice boy who deserves a loving home for his senior years.
