About Coda

Adoption Fee: $100
Siberian Husky
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

This handsome blue eyed (click on photos to see those sparkling brilliant baby blues) snow white Siberian husky boy arrived in Sept, was adopted in Oct for one month and returned to us on Nov 26. Reason for return is conflict with one of the two resident dogs. His behavior is consistent with what was reported by the first owner, that Coda is selective as to the dogs with whom he is compatible. Coda was originally relinquished because his owner of 4 years had a new baby and was moving. Coda is 6 years old, 60 pounds, housebroken, good on a leash and likes car rides. He has lived compatibly with a toddler but he may be selective with children based on their behavior towards him. He was reported to not be cat friendly. He can be left alone indoors without any destructive behaviors. He is quiet and well mannered. He will only be adopted to a home with secure fencing. An appointment is needed to visit with Coda so that his offsite caregiver can bring him to the shelter. For any other questions about Coda, contact the office 706-865-4135. Adoption fee $100. More photos in Comments 1 & 2. Application can be submitted online at https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog-adoption-application/ or at the shelter. Information about our adoption policies and application procedures can be found at the website: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under All Adoptable Animals. Approved adopters must come to the shelter to accompany their new family member on the journey home. We neither ship nor transport. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4.
