About Cougar

Cougar found herself at ACCT Philly when her owner could not tend to her medical needs, and we couldn't shy away from such a sweet face. This 10-13 year old shih tzu/lhasa apso mix has proven to be nothing but the sweetest of old lady dogs. She is partially blind (we think she can sometimes see shadows and/or shapes), but doesn't let that slow her down. She still locates and plays with toys she likes when she is feeling spunky, and can navigate a walk like a pro. When she's not taking a stroll or playing tug, she can be found curled up asleep, and is as mellow as they come. Cougar is awaiting her cardiology work up to get to the bottom of some possible heart issues. Any adopters should be prepared to sign a medical waiver upon adoption outlining those findings.
