About Scooby

-STAFF FAV!-- HAS WAITED 728 DAYS (as of 03/30/18)!! He is currently in training, but we are still taking inquiries on him. Scooby is a 4 year old Cairn Terrier mix looking for his forever home. He is low shed and weighs in full grown at 10lbs. He came to us after his owners were told they could not keep him where they lived. Scooby is a spunky, active, affectionate boy. He bonds strongly with people. It takes some time for him to truly show his affectionate and sweet side. It's absolutely adorable to watch his eyes light up and tail wag once he sees someone he loves. He even jumps on his hind legs and reaches for you. Scooby would be best as the only dog. He becomes protective of his owner, toys, food and territory. He has lived with kids (we suggest kids over the age of 16.) Cats are not recommended. He loves chew bones and especially loves squeaky toys. Scooby amuses himself and can keep himself busy. He rides great in the car, likes to play with kids, and can be protective of his family. He is not fond of strangers, so it takes some time for him to warm up to new people. He is house broken and great in a kennel. He would do best in an active home or a semi active home. --- Adoption fee is $160. This dog is altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked.
