History- This sweet girl was just another stray roaming in a bad part of a rural town. She was picked up by a good Samaritan and taken to the local shelter. He was worried as she kept getting close to the road and he thought she would get hit by a car. Well she was there for about a month in a small cage as the big kennels were completely full. One day we went in as the shelter was overflowing and needed to make some space. When we saw her she broke our hearts- her nose was bleeding from trying to escape, she had tears in her eyes, and she just wouldn't stop shaking- when we talked to her she wagged her tail and when we opened her cage she jumped into our arms. We needed a foster home though- well it so happens one of our regular fosters texted me that she had a spot open - I sent her a picture of her and she said absolutely bring her over she has a place here. Yay!!! We scooped her up and she is now at the Canine Bungalow with Melba in Los Lunas waiting for her happily ever after. This photo is in the car on her way to her foster right after we left the shelter- doesn't she have the saddest eyes here?? We will post new photos of her soon. Temperament- She is very sweet and loving Energy Level- Pretty mellow Dogs/Cats- Good with other dogs. Should be fine with cats. Housetrained- She uses a dog door perfectly This little girl is so cute.. We don't know why her family didn't care enough to keep her safe or even go to the shelter to bail her out. But we are glad she is with us now. She is an amazingly sweet little girl with a heart of gold. She will make a wonderful addition to any family wanting a cute little baby to share their home with. Adoption fee $200 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
