They claimed she was aggressive to men but she is in a foster home with a family with older kids and loves all of them. Oreo has been adopted twice and returned both times. The first time the woman claimed she was scared of her husband and was just too scared. The second woman became scared of Oreo after Oreo got a sticker in her foot and when the woman went to take it out she put her mouth on her hand as though she was going to bite. After that the woman was too scared to handle her- she never broke the skin she was scared and in pain and reacted. Oreo loves her foster family and has never offered to bite any of them however they have been very patient with her to gain her trust and she is now very loving to everyone in the home. She is also very sweet and loving towards people visiting she is just scared initially and when meeting strangers so whoever adopts her just needs to realize they will have to be patient and earn her trust. Temperament- Very sweet and playful once she trust you.. She is shy with strangers though and prefers a quiet home where she can hang out in a lap- even a young teens lap as long as they give her space and time to learn to trust them.. Energy level- Pretty mellow doesn't really know how to play with toys or other dogs but is trying to learn how to play fetch.. Dogs/Cats- Gentle with the other dogs but prefers to keep her distance from them.. She is good with the cat Housetrained- Using a dog door Oreo is an awesome little girl who loves love.. She is very loving, loyal, and sweet with her loved ones.. She will take some time to learn to trust a new family but once she bonds she is an amazing girl.. Her family can take her out to get the mail and everything and she stays right with them.. She enjoys cuddling on the couch watching tv and hanging out with her family.. She will make a great addition to a quiet family wanting a special little girl to love.. Adoption fee $200 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
