About Bigg

Meet Bigg! Bigg came to AHS all the way from Mississippi at the end of 2017. Bigg lived his entire life with his previous owner on the road who drove a semi for a living. Bigg's owner fell ill and no other family could take him in, that is how Bigg ended up in the shelter. Bigg is a senior boy and we couldn't say no to rescuing him. We were told Bigg was around 13, but our vet estimates him to be no older than 9. We were also told he is a boxer/bulldog mix. Bigg has some arthritis but it doesn't slow him down! He is such a lover and all he wants is to be with his humans! He does well with cats and dogs and children of all ages. He is a great conversationalist and is an expert spooner! Bigg needs a home where his people are home a lot. He loves to go for car rides and makes a great passenger! He has been known to jump in cars of volunteers visiting :) He is currently in a foster home with another dog, cats and 3 kids and is doing amazing! Bigg is house and crate trained.
