My name is Maisly, and I am a loving, entertaining 2-year-old chihuahua mix who is ready to report for duty as your new bestie. I will look good by your side with my stylish short cream-colored hair on most of my body and my rich chocolate brown adorable face! I am a svelte 10 pounds, which is the perfect size for lots of sweet snuggles, too. I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care & Control, and am loving my upgrade to a loving foster home with Fetching Tails! I currently live with my foster humans and two male dogs who are small in size like me. I have so much fun hanging out with them, and would like to have a doggie playmate in my forever home so I can have a buddy to romp and roll with! I can be a little shy with new humans at first, but once I know you just want to be my friend I freely share my fun, loving, and devoted personality. I like to follow my foster mommy and human sisters around like their little shadow, and am so happy when I am making my humans smile! My foster mommy tells me all the time that I'm a really good girl and I repay her my making her laugh at my silly antics, like bouncing on the couch or bed to let her know just how much I love life and am ready to play. I sleep with a human at night and like to snuggle with them under the covers because they are nice and warm and I can protect them throughout the night when I'm close to them. I really like my teenage humans that I live with now, too, and am very happy when they come home from school! I lovingly and bouncily greet them at the door and hope that they don't have too much homework so they can play with me for a bit! I would do well in a home with human kiddos of all ages. My manners are very good, as well! I'm completely potty trained and I take treats so nicely from my human's fingers - I will even stand on two legs and patiently wait for my turn.
