Dale was born about November 2, 2008 and weighs about 12 lbs. She can be rather picky about her four legged friends and maybe would do best with one other small aloof dog or as an only dog. She adores her humans but we do not feel she should live with small children. We have no information on why she ended up at the high kill shelter, but she was a matted mess and just covered with fleas so now that she is healing and flea free her fur is growing back in and she'll be gorgeous again one day. She is happy, funny, and just loves to be loved. Someone is going to be very happy that she made this journey! This is all we know so far and we'll all be learning as we go. We do like to warn that many of these small dogs do benefit from having floor potty pads handy for when they just can't hold it.
