About Fido/Fred

I found this dog in Houston about a year ago he had mange and had been completely neglected so I took him home thinking I could find him a home but pit mix looking dogs are everywhere so it was harder to find a home than I planned so I've been stuck with him which was fine except now I lost my job and can't keep affording to feed an extra dog and wouldn't want to have to bring him to the pounds out here because they're horrible but that's what it's going to have to come down to if I don't find him a home. When I picked him up I brought him to the vet and he is neutered and has a chip apparently he was at BARC in Houston before and was adopted out and ended up back on the street when I called the shelter they didn't want anything to do with him because I brought him a town over outside of Houston. He is a sweet boy and is good around other animals and people but does have a food aggression issue unless you're standing there watching he will back down if told too. that is only with animals not with people that he has the food aggression with. I have other dogs,cats and a pig and never had any issues except over food with him. He should be updated on his vaccinations just because he was adopted out from the shelter prior to me finding him and they usually give all animals vaccinations beforehand.
