About Mars

Adoption Fee: $250
Chihuahua / Pekingese
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

To help Mars for his forever family we are reducing his adoption fee to $200 Mars is a precious boy who was completely terrified at the lights and flashing at the photo studio when we went to go get pictures %BD'%BD| so please keep that in mind as he is not some sort of nervous dog in general. The 2 pictures showing him outside were just taken before Thanksgiving, he was a little more comfortable outside. Mars is more cautious and timid than his sisters to start, but once he gets comfortable he is all in with his love, kisses and sweetness. I remember when I first let them run around the bedroom area he was scared to cross the threshold from the bathroom to the bedroom. Now he bounds everywhere he wants to go! He would love a home where he could be a lap dog and he is a great cuddler on the couch at night! Mars was born on July 7 (makes him 5 months old this month) and weighs 8 lbs. He is going to be a small dog when full grown. We have no idea who daddy was and we are just purely guessing and speculating on what mix they are. Mars is neutered, up to date on his shots, wormed and micro chipped. We have started to work on potty training but that is something that his new family will need to continue to work on with him. Mars is currently located in Cookeville, Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost. If you would like to adopt Mars please fill out our online adoption application at http://safehaventn.com/.
