We GENERALLY DO NOT KNOW THE AGE OF OUR FOSTERS Suggested Adoption Donation: Adoptive family is responsible for shipping when applicable. We will ship turtles overnight unless weather conditions are prohibitive to the safety and comfort of our foster turtles. While we do not charge an adoption fee, any donation over the cost of shipping will contribute to offsetting vet care and other expenses associated with rehabilitating our charges. Yellow bellied sliders are native to the coastal Piedmont area to northern Florida and the Panhandle. CMTR's primary objective is to rehabilitate injured/ill turtles/tortoises and return them to the wild. However, when an individual testudines have circumstances that prevent them from living safely in their native habitat, CMTR places them with qualified adoptive families. Newbie has been a pet his whole life. He's been with us since 2014 and would love to have a family to call his own!
