Hey there. Zander here! I'm am older gentleman around 8 to 10 years old. I was at the local animal shelter and this nice lady fell in love with my picture and came and got me. I call her my foster mom. She saved me so I wouldn't be put down. I came to my foster home with a feisty attitude but that was probably caused by the golf ball size tumor in the middle of my back and mouth infection. This nice rescue had the tumor removed (not cancer and was told it will not return) and had my mouth infection taken care of which included a tooth extraction. I am fully vetted, neutered, teeth have been cleaned. My foster mom says I'm a really sweet guy now that I'm feeling better. I do tricks too! I can sit, lay down, shake and roll over with hand signals (and treats, of course!). I fetch but I don't bring it back to you. I get along with all the small dogs at my foster home, but not too fond of the bigger ones. I love to sleep in the bed with my foster mom (and she says I snore and I take up a lot of room, but I don't see her throwing me out of the bed). I will whine or bark when I want to go out, so I'm housebroken. Wouldn't you like to adopt me and let me live out the rest of my years being your happy go lucky sidekick? I would love that.
