About Spirit Spirit is a 10 month old female IG / Doxie / Chihuahua mix, about 5 pounds. She is a happy, playful puppy who is feisty, bossy and a total princess. She bosses her brothers around and rules the litter! She is tiny, delicate, with long thin legs. She will do best in a home without children or dogs larger than her. She could be a purse dog, but will likely tell you that 'she can do it!' Homes with experience owning tiny 'china doll' type dogs requested. This is not a dog that can jump from the couch or bed without potential broken legs. She will need to be managed and monitored closely. She is just a puppy and needs all the training and socialization that puppies need. She is up to date on vaccines, micro chipped and will be spayed at 8-10 months old. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters.
