Sweet Lissy certainly lives up to her name. This darling girl has had it a bit rough lately - she found herself at imminent risk of euthanasia at a local shelter after she was turned in. Her owner was taken to a nursing home a month before and poor Lissy became a stray. Judging by her weight she wasn't the best at fending for herself during that time. However she has since found herself at Dog Town Rescue and can say without a doubt she is greatly enjoying the step up her life has taken! She revels in the attention from people, is loving playing with the dogs, and can't complain about the good food and warm blankets either! Lissy does appear to be deaf, but that just means the people in her life have to be a little more creative when training her and trying to get her attention. Once she is a healthier weight she will be spayed (included in her adoption fee) and is already up to date on vaccinations, basic vet care and is microchipped.
