About Parakeet

I'm rehoming my two sweet little parakeets due to allergies and roommate issues. The green/yellow one is female, Quinn (about 4 years old). The blue/white one is male, Desi (about 2 years old). The are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. Quinn is hand-tame. Desi is not YET but I know he could get there with patience. He is VERY curious about humans. Desi is very vocal, especially in the morning, calling to his 'flock' of outside birds. He also sings pretty songs throughout the day. They are both pretty active and entertaining, love toys and chewing. I really love them and am sad to give them up, but I know there's the right home out there for them. The adoption fee includes their large iron cage and all toys, food, perches, etc. I have. I intend to donate the adoption fee to an animal rescue organization. It is a formality to ensure they are going to a home that can afford their care.
