About Dusty

Dusty is just a great, laid back girl. She has been at the shelter since 2012, and we don't know why. If I had to come up with one bad thing about Dusty, I couldn't think of one. Well, she is a little chubby, but that just makes her even more endearing! I estimate her birthdate as 2010, which makes her a senior, but she doesn't act like one. She loves a leisurely walk but most of all she loves to be with people. Dusty would love to just be a couch potato getting (and giving) lots of love and affection. I think that with a little patience she would learn house manners quickly, Dusty is a low maintenance girl who doesn't ask for much except love. When she is in the play yard with us, she enjoys taking a quick amble around the yard but then she is content to just hang out with us. Looking for a sweet tempered, easy going companion? Dusty would love for you to give her a chance! For the protection of the dog, we do have special requirements for those adopting pit bulls and pit mixes. These include reference checks, a home visit, and that the dog be kept primarily as an indoor pet. His adoption fee is $150.
