About Max

Hello friends!! My name is Maxwell, Max for short. I just got to my foster home a couple days ago, but I settled in right away. My foster mom has 3 dogs of her own and another foster puppy. I LOVE having so many friends to run around with. When I first got here, I wasn't really sure what playing was, but the dogs here have shown me really quick how to play and share toys! My foster mom also has cats. I don't mind the kitties at all; I don't even chase them, in fact, they kind of scare me sometimes so I run away from them! I'm a little nervous about new things but, foster mom and her pets are showing me that I don't have to be scared of new things. They are introducing me to lots of new things and people, and I'm adjusting really well! I have my own kennel that I stay in while foster mom is gone, I actually really like it in there. I have a couple fun chew toys in there, so it keeps me busy while she is away. I've only had one accident while I was here, and that was the first day, when I was a little unsure of how the routine worked here. I've heard foster mom say that she is really impressed with how well I am doing in just a few short days! I've learned how to sit and we are working on new tricks now too! I am very excited to continue to learn new things as I adjust to the good life. Foster mom thinks that I would really do good in any home. I am fairly laid back as long as I have some toys and some attention! So I am on the hunt for the perfect family! Could you be my forever family?! Max is a male Pit Bull Mix, born around Jan. 4th. He weighs approximately 60lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $85.00. He must have a fenced yard for safety.
